- This is a very beautiful eastern European city that most will never travel to because it is not on most people's radar. It is surely a must visit destination because it gives such a welcoming atmosphere! The architecture is spectacular--it was even rebuilt exactly how it looked before being destroyed in the war. The food tastes amazing (get it at the milk bars) and it is cheap too. When visiting Gdansk, we recommend stay at the Q Hotel Grand Cru Gdańsk which is near the Motlawa River. We highly recommend staying here as it is a great location to all the local attractions and the hotel staff were extremely helpful!
